Saif is back as incorrigible flirt, Deepika as the sexiest bombshell, and newbie Diana Penty as a desi chick in ‘Cocktail’ COCKTAIL, PLEASE! Don’t you love Saif Ali Khan as an incorrigible flirt? The actor is back doing what he is best at, and once again is seen flirting beautiful ladies in his home production Cocktail. Model Diana Penty is making her debut in the film as Meera, while Deepika Padukone plays the bindaas bombshell Veronica, and both the ladies will be romancing Saif in the movie which is based on the confusing relations of friendship and love. Like we all know, Saif Ali Khan is too good playing a cool playboy; in the trailer, too, he displays his cool-as-a-cucumber antics of a casual lover boy trying to serenade girls (of various races) with his wit and impish charm. Directed by Homi Adajania of Being Cyrus fame, Cocktail seems to be a delight for the fans of quintessential Bollywood romedies. The trailer first introduces us to Gautam, played by Saif Ali Khan, and then comes Meera (Diana Penty), a pretty girl with desi values and attire, trying to rebuff Saif’s advances. Deepika Padukone comes a bit later in the trailer, but makes a spicy entry. She is Veronica, a spoilt siren, who doesn’t like wearing pants at home and drinks like a fish. Though different from each other, these three are perfect friends staying under one roof until friendship becomes confusing, and love complicated. Cocktail also stars Dimple Kapadia and Boman Irani as Saif’s parents. The scene where Boman hints Deepika Padukone to sit with her thighs closed is quite hilarious. Since the movie’s title is Cocktail, expect the heady mix of romance, drama and funny sequences. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty and Deepika Padukone, the movie Cocktail is releasing on July 13. Locations of the filming in London include Borough High Street, Borough market, Portobello Road, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Mayfair, and many other exotic places. Homi once again gets Dimple and Boman for his film. The duo play parents of Saif. Boman trying to show Deepika how to sit properly in front of elders. FRIENDSHIP GETS CONFUSING Three friends in a confusing relation of friendship. The movie is co-written by Imtiaz Ali. ANGREZI BEAT The first half of the trailer has song Angrezi Beat – the popular Punjabi song sung by Gippy Grewal and Yo Yo Honey Singh. MUSIC The music in the film is by Pritam. There is also a English party number picturised on Deepika Padukone.
