Ever since the trailer released, speculations have been rife that ‘Talaash’ is inspired from an American novella. There have also been speculations that it might be a copy of Act of Providence by Joseph Payne Brennan and Donald M Grant. However, Reema Kagti refuted the claims and said that Talaash is an original story.
