The director of the film also revealed that Aamir had almost given the film a miss because of his busy schedule. When Reema went to Aamir with her script, he refused the film saying that he is busy for a year and half. Reema went to other stars with the script but nothing worked out. Finally, it came back to Aamir for whom it was actually written.
